What a blessing it is to live, work, and enjoy the friendly sociality that exists among the residents of this wonderful community. 

The upcoming election to vote for the next Mayor of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona will be critical in determining the future direction, stability, and viability of this beautiful town. 

I have had the privilege of living and working in this community for the past forty-seven (47) years. This great community and the wonderful people that live here have been a great blessing to me and my family, which is beyond measure. Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation that I feel toward the countless incredible individuals, friends, and families that have also made this town their home. 

Mr. Taber Heisler, having served as a member of the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Council for the past four (4) years, has announced his candidacy for Mayor of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona. The referenced election will be held on the 21st day of July 2026. 

I have known and been associated with Mr. Heisler for approximately twenty (20) years. I have had extensive personal experience in dealing with Mr. Heisler: as a member of the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Council, as the assistant chief of operations at Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District, as the owner and operator of Rim Outdoor Solutions, LLC, and as the co-organizer of Christmas on Evergreen. 

I have spent many hours, over the past twenty (20) years, in one-on-one discussions with Mr. Heisler. These discussions have been held in good times, in great times, in tough times, and in incredibly challenging times. 

These extensive discussions with Mr. Heisler have given me a personal knowledge and perspective as to the: integrity, character, personality, intelligence, logical thinking, and practical problem-solving traits that he possesses, and consistently applies, as he navigates the challenges of life on planet earth. 

I have outlined hereafter, for your review and consideration, what I believe to be critical factors for you to consider as you determine for whom you will cast your vote for the next Mayor of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona. 

1. Mr. Heisler is an excellent listener. He listens closely to the perspective of the individual or group with whom he is speaking. He does not attempt to dominate the discussion or impose his will upon others. 

2. Mr. Heisler has no hidden or personal agenda. The sole intent and purpose for his service to the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona is to maximize the opportunities for the citizens to enjoy a safe, friendly, and wholesome environment in which to live, work, and raise their children. He believes that men, women, and children must know, understand, and apply the “Golden Rule” to everyone they meet, with the utmost respect for our great country, law, and authority. 

3. Mr. Heisler is committed, in every instance, to perform all of the “Homework” that is necessary in order to fully understand the issues, options, and concerns. He then utilizes all of the available information to cooperate with the team to develop the best solution to the problem and the application of the steps required to be taken to obtain the desired result. I have never witnessed him attempting to “Shoot From the Hip;” the “Homework” must be accomplished prior to proceeding with respect to any important matter. 

4. Mr. Heisler is committed to always “Doing the right thing, for the right reason, regardless of the consequences.” I have witnessed Mr. Heisler, time after time, honor his commitment even when doing the right thing is financially detrimental to him personally. 

5. Mr. Heisler will never ask anyone to do something he is not willing to do himself. On most occasions he is directly involved with the rest of the team, working hand-in-hand in the trenches to get the job done, and do it right. 

6. When I think of Taber Heisler it reminds me of a quote from Will Rogers, “What this country needs is cleaner minds and dirtier fingernails.” Mr. Heisler is a tireless advocate for hard work, humility, along with moral and mental integrity. 

7. Mr. Heisler is a peacemaker. He respects the opinions of others, even if they do not agree with his own perspective. He believes in the ability to disagree without being disagreeable. Dignity and respect must always exist in the relationships, communications, and interactions between men, women, youth, and children in our community. 

8. Mr. Heisler believes in personal accountability. He strongly believes that he, along with everyone else, must take responsibility for our actions. He believes that all men have agency which allows them to make the choices that they deem appropriate; nevertheless, all men must be weighed in the balance and be accountable for the choices that they make. 

9. Mr. Heisler believes in being a “Hands-On Guy.” He is continuously involved in a multiplicity of community events, community work projects, and service to others. His continuous interaction with the members of our community provides him with firsthand knowledge regarding the issues, concerns, and potential problems that exist in our town. The referenced interaction allows him to measure the “Temperature” of the members of our community and the matters that require immediate action, along with near-term and long-term action items. 

10. It has been repeatedly stated, “If you want something done, ask someone that is too busy to do it.” It has been continuously proven that those who appear “Too Busy” are the individuals who “Get Things Done.” This quote is directly applicable to Mr. Taber Heisler. 

11. Mr. Heisler will review the problem or concern, do the homework, cooperate with the team, determine the best solution, and immediately take the steps necessary to accomplish the desired result. 

If the individual described above is the type of man that you would like to be the next Mayor of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona I strongly suggest that you cast your vote for Mr. Taber Heisler on the 21st day of July 2026. 

I am confident that Mr. Taber Heisler will honor his commitments, as he has consistently done for the past twenty (20) years, and that he will collaborate unitedly with the team of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona to preserve the quality of life that makes our community so very special.
